I can apply some of the strategies from this article to revise my papers. when i revise my essays or writings, i mostly look at grammar errors, i don’t focus on what is more important. It is hard as an individual to revise my own writing, i usually ask someone to help me revise the errors i make. overall it was a good article that can be helpful if you apply some of the tips and strategies

What I understood from these articles was that many people don’t realize how much help there is in community college. Then afterwards they feel confused and alone if they don’t seek for help. Many people drop out because of the same reason. Tease articles have tips for students to follow. Those tips are really well explained, they explain from how to reach for help stop how to be successful in college. Being engaged, asking for help and having friends are some of the most effective tips

I can relate to this because without asking people what to do or what I can do I would be lost. Asking questions to people that know what they are doing and have experience is always good. I always ask for tips and how to do some things at times when it is necessary.

Shitty First Draft

In the article “shitty First Draft” the author tells us about the process she goes through when she writes, she mentions how she has three different drafts for her papers and writings. She tells us how the first draft is the worst. She uses the first draft to grab all of her information, she opens her mind to write everything she has. The first draft gives her the opportunity to brain storm and write everything she can. Sometimes deadlines will freak her out as well as readers perspectives. The author explains her life which is writing, this is her job and tells us about what she feels when she is working on a paper.

This showed me that I’m not the only one that has problems starting a paper. Most of the time i don’t know how to start an essay or a story, once i figure out my theme or thesis i am ready go. It seems like even authors have the same problem. I found it funny how she has three drafts, because when i write i only have two drafts the rough draft and the final draft. It seems that having three drafts can be very helpful when one writes.
